Standard Chartered has forged a strategic partnership with DCS Card Centre to launch DeCard, a groundbreaking payment solution enabling stablecoin transactions in the real economy. The initiative will debut in Singapore before expanding to other major markets.

The collaboration addresses growing demand for regulated stablecoin infrastructure while offering consumer convenience through card-based spending. By aligning with one of the world's most established banking institutions, DeCard gains immediate credibility in the digital assets space.

Singapore's progressive stance on crypto adoption provides an ideal testing ground. "This partnership reflects our commitment to bridging traditional finance with decentralized ecosystems," said Dhiraj Bajaj, Global Head of TB FI Sales at Standard Chartered.
